Audio Matrix Controller
For advanced multi-zone music and paging systems
The Audac MTX48 features four balanced stereo line-level outputs on Phoenix (Euro Block) connectors with independent bass and treble controls. It has two balanced XLR microphone inputs with priority function, phantom power and three-band tone control. Four stereo line-level RCA inputs are provided to which any line-level music source such as a CD-player, tuner or MP3 player can be connected. Any of these six inputs can be routed to any of the four outputs.
The MTX48 can be operated via the via the multi-functional front panel controls, built-in web interface, free AUDAC Touch™ app for Android/iOS or optionally available wall panels. It features four RJ45 ports on the rear panel (one for each output zone) to which the wall panels can be connected via 4-pair network cable.
The optional MWX45 wall panels (available in white or black) allow control of the zone volume and selection of the input source from withing the zone/room.
The MWX65 wall panels, in addition to controlling the zone volume and music source, allows an additional mic and/or stereo line-level source to be connected from within the zone, which can be routed to the speakers installed in the specific zone that each wall panel controls.
An Ethernet port provides connectivity to a LAN for operating the MTX48 via the free mobile app or a web browser, while the RS232 port makes the MTX48 compatible with any home or industrial automation system supporting RS232.
A 24Vdc power input makes it possible to keep the MTX running on battery power if the mains power fails.
Built-in PFL (Pre Fade Listen) speaker with level control allows each output signal to be independently monitored without the need for headphones.
