Product Overview
The Audac NMP40 is a SourceCon audio streaming module built for the XMP44 modular audio system, letting a professional sound installation stream directly from licensed streaming services rather than relying on a wired source. It connects your audio system to Spotify Connect and Soundtrack Your Brand, using a personal computer or mobile device purely as a remote control while the actual audio streams directly from the cloud to the module.
Because playback is handled by the module itself rather than relayed through a phone or laptop, the connection avoids interruptions from calls, notifications, or the source device going out of range, and maintains higher sample rates than a typical Bluetooth connection. This makes the NMP40 well suited to commercial background music applications such as retail stores, restaurants, and hotels, where licensed, uninterrupted music is a requirement.
Like all SourceCon modules, installation is tool-light: the card slides into the XMP44’s guide rails and connects via board-edge connections, with no additional internal wiring or configuration required. Once inserted, the module is automatically discovered and ready for operation, and is fully controllable through the AUDAC Touch app.
