The Hercules MS533B EZ is a convertible tripod microphone stand designed to function as either a straight stand or a boom stand, switching between the two in seconds. The boom arm hides away inside the stand’s main shaft when not needed, so a performer or venue doesn’t need to carry separate stands for different microphone placement needs.

The stand’s 2-in-1 boom clamp handles both boom length and angle adjustment through a single knob, letting both be set and locked in one motion rather than needing separate controls. Height adjustment is handled by Hercules’ EZ Clutch mechanism, which releases and locks the stand’s height with a simple push of a button, adjustable across a wide 42.1″ to 94.5″ range to suit different microphone types and performer heights.

An EZ Adaptor Flip Clip microphone clip is included, rubber-lined to grip the microphone securely and attached via a flip lever for quick swapping. It’s designed to accommodate most standard handheld microphones and fits all standard-size mic stand threads. The stand’s tripod base is constructed from die-cast aluminum for stability, with foldable legs that allow the whole stand to collapse down for easy transport between gigs or storage.
