The Denon AVR-X250BT is a 5.1-channel AV receiver designed as a straightforward centrepiece for a home cinema system. It combines five discrete power amplifier channels with 4K video switching, HDMI connectivity and built-in Bluetooth music streaming in a compact receiver.
Its five-channel discrete amplifier section is rated at up to 130W per channel under Denon’s stated maximum-output condition, with rated two-channel output of 70W + 70W at 8Ω, 20Hz-20kHz, 0.08% THD, and 90W + 90W at 6Ω, 1kHz, 0.7% THD.
The AVR-X250BT provides five HDMI inputs for connecting source devices such as Blu-ray players, game consoles and set-top boxes. Its HDMI video section supports 4K/60Hz, HDCP 2.2, HDR, BT.2020, wide colour gamut, 4:4:4 colour sub-sampling, 21:9 and 3D video pass-through. ARC and HDMI CEC are also supported.
Built-in Bluetooth allows music to be streamed directly from a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer. Denon’s Setup Assistant and Quick Select functions simplify everyday operation and initial configuration.
