Experienced and competent electronics technician required to carry out component level diagnostics and repairs on high-end audio and AV equipment.
What We Are Looking For
A comprehensive understanding of fundamental electrical and electronic theory and principles.
Ability to understand circuit diagrams and identify components and their function in a circuit.
Ability to sketch circuit diagrams when one is not available to assist in fault finding.
Experience in the use of test equipment – including oscilloscopes – to methodically diagnose faults.
Should be skilled at desoldering and soldering SMDs.
Applicants with experience in repairing AV receivers and equipment with switched mode power supplies, will be given preference.
Working Hours and Remuneration
Full-time working hours would be 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. Part-time working hours are flexible and working on weekends is possible. Remuneration is negotiable.
