Product Overview
The Dahua DH-PFS3009-8ET-96 is an unmanaged Layer 2 desktop switch built for small-scale PoE camera and IP device deployments. It provides 8 RJ-45 10/100 Mbps PoE ports plus a dedicated 10/100 Mbps uplink port, with a total PoE power budget of 96W. Port 1 (the “red port”) supports IEEE802.3af, IEEE802.3at, and Hi-PoE standards at up to 60W, making it suitable for powering higher-draw devices such as PTZ cameras.
The switch includes Dahua’s Intelligent PoE power management, which monitors consumption in real time and prioritizes power delivery to keep critical ports online, along with a PoE Watchdog feature that automatically detects a failed port connection and restarts it, reducing the need for manual maintenance. A switchable long-distance transmission mode extends PoE reach up to 250 meters (at a reduced 10 Mbps bandwidth) for installations where cameras sit farther from the switch than standard Ethernet limits allow.
