Product Overview
The Epson EpiqVision Ultra EH-LS650B is a 4K PRO-UHD ultra-short throw laser projector designed for big-screen home entertainment. Its ultra-short throw optical system allows it to produce an image from 60″ up to 120″ while positioned close to the projection surface, making it suitable for living rooms, media rooms and home cinema installations where a conventional long-throw projector is impractical.
Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD projection technology delivers equal colour and white light output of up to 3,600 lumens, while 4K PRO-UHD pixel-shifting technology enhances the projector’s native Full HD panel resolution to create a detailed 4K viewing experience. 10-bit HDR processing, frame interpolation and image-enhancement processing help improve clarity, tonal gradation and motion reproduction for films, television, sport and gaming.
The EH-LS650B incorporates Android TV with Chromecast built-in and Google Assistant support, providing direct access to compatible streaming services over Wi-Fi. A built-in Yamaha 2.1-channel audio system combines two 5W full-range channels with a 10W woofer for 20W total output, allowing the projector to function as a complete entertainment system without requiring external speakers for everyday viewing.
For gaming, Epson specifies input lag below 20ms under supported conditions. Two HDMI inputs are provided, with eARC/ARC support for connection to compatible AV receivers and sound systems. The laser light source is rated for up to 20,000 hours in normal operation, reducing routine maintenance compared with lamp-based projectors.
