Product Overview

The Neutrik NL2FXX-W-S is a 2-pole speakON cable connector, part of Neutrik’s industry-standard range of loudspeaker connectors used for amplifier-to-speaker connections in professional audio. It’s designed for building custom speaker cables, and is engineered specifically to handle the high current, inductive load environment that loudspeaker cabling is exposed to.

The connector uses Neutrik’s proven twist-lock system with a unique metal locking bushing, ensuring the connector makes contact only once it’s fully locked in place, and won’t work loose during use. A screw-type terminal assembly with stranded wire protection makes for a secure, reliable termination when building a cable by hand, and a chuck-type strain relief accommodates cable diameters from 6 to 12mm, with a two-component bushing design that improves kink protection at the cable entry point.

Housing materials are glass-reinforced and rated V-0 for flammability, making the connector fireproof, robust, and dependable for demanding touring, installation, or rental use. The NL2FXX-W-S mates with both 2-pole and 4-pole speakON chassis connectors (using the +1/-1 contacts on a 4-pole receptacle), giving some flexibility when matching cables to existing equipment.
