Product Overview

The TOA PC-658R is a ceiling-mount speaker built for background music and paging applications in commercial 70V/100V distributed audio systems. It integrates a 16cm (6″) cone driver, line transformer, and baffle/grille into a single compact assembly designed for straightforward installation into a standard ceiling cavity.

Mounting is handled by a spring clamp mechanism built into the speaker frame, allowing it to be fitted into a ceiling cut-out without the additional brackets or fasteners some competing designs require, reducing overall installation time. The line transformer’s tap position can be changed at the terminal to match the speaker’s input impedance to the requirements of a given zone, giving installers flexibility when balancing power across a larger multi-speaker system.

The speaker’s baffle is finished in white polypropylene resin, paired with a surface-treated steel grille in a matching white finish, designed to sit discreetly in a finished ceiling. Its compact 192mm diameter and 73mm depth make it a practical fit for most standard ceiling installations.
