AV & Audio Equipment Repair
As an Electronics Repair Technician at Audissey, you will be based in our workshop, performing detailed diagnostics and component-level repairs on high-end AV and audio equipment. You’ll work directly under the guidance of one of Sri Lanka’s most experienced AV and audio electronics specialists – a rare opportunity to gain expertise that simply cannot be found elsewhere in Sri Lanka.
Eligibility Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- A comprehensive understanding of fundamental electrical and electronic theory and principles is essential
- A relevant qualification in electronics (such as NVQ Level 4 or above, HND, C&G, or equivalent) is preferred
- Skilled self-taught applicants who can demonstrate their knowledge will also be considered
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics repair in a similar role
- Expertise in repairing microprocessor-controlled equipment and switched-mode power supplies will be an advantage
Technical Skills
- Read circuit diagrams and identify components and their function in a circuit
- Sketch circuit diagrams when one is not available to assist in fault finding
- Use digital test equipment to methodically diagnose faults
- Solder and desolder surface-mounted components (SMDs)
- Clearly document diagnostic findings, work carried out, and parts used
- Use online tools for documentation, research, and communication
Working Hours and Remuneration
Full-time working hours are 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. A base salary of LKR 60,000 to 70,000 is offered, with a per-repair incentive scheme that can push total monthly take-home to over LKR 120,000 – based on technical proficiency and output.
Part time working hours and remuneration are negotiable.
