Build a Career in AV, Electronics or Carpentry
As a Technical Trainee at Audissey, you’ll learn about AV technology, electronics, or woodworking through hands-on work on fabrication and installation projects. Our intention is to train and retain — we’re looking for people who want to build a long-term career with us, not just gain experience and move on. Formal qualifications are not required — the right aptitude, a genuine passion, and an eagerness to learn matter far more.
What You’ll Learn
You’ll gain experience in one or more of the following areas, based on your interests and abilities:
- Servicing, testing, and demonstrating audio and AV equipment
- Laying cables for AV, PA, CCTV, and data networks
- Installing and maintaining AV, PA, CCTV, and network equipment
- Assembling audio cables to customer specifications
- Fabricating custom-designed speakers and acoustic panels
What We’re Looking For
School-leavers, part-time students, and other young people who are:
- Technically inclined and comfortable with hands‑on work
- Methodical and dependable
- Eager to learn and willing to take guidance
- Able to communicate clearly and work well with others
- Comfortable using online tools for documentation, research, and communication
Prior experience — whether formal or self‑taught — counts in your favour. School projects, hobby builds, or personal experiments are all valued.
Working Hours and Remuneration
Full-time working hours are 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. Working hours are flexible if joining us on a part-time basis. A daily allowance of LKR 1,000 to 1,500 is provided during the initial training period. As your skills and responsibilities grow, you’ll move into a permanent technical role with a competitive salary.
