Basic Bookkeeping & Document Filing
As a full-time or part-time Accounts Clerk at Audissey, you will help keep our financial records and documentation organised and up to date. This is a practical role combining basic bookkeeping with the filing and maintenance of financial and administrative documents.
You will help maintain our day-to-day records while also bringing older documents into the same organised system. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working in an organised and methodical way and takes pride in keeping records accurate and easy to find.
What You’ll Do
Your day-to-day work may include:
- Maintaining basic bookkeeping records and updating accounting information
- Tracking supplier invoices and other payables
- Preparing payment vouchers and cheques
- Maintaining and reconciling petty cash
- Maintaining records of payments made and amounts outstanding
- Organising and filing invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other documents
- Maintaining file registers and other records in Excel
- Assisting with the preparation of information and documentation required by accountants and auditors
- Assisting with other accounts and administrative tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
Someone who is organised, dependable, comfortable working with numbers and documents, and able to work independently.
You should have:
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good attention to detail and a systematic approach to record keeping
- Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping or administrative role
A qualification or training in accounting or bookkeeping, experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software, and experience working with auditors would be an advantage.
Verifiable references will be required.
Working Hours and Remuneration
Full-time working hours are 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. A starting salary of LKR 40,000 to 55,000 is offered, based on experience and ability, with potential for growth as the role develops.
For part-time work, a daily or hourly rate can be negotiated.
