AV & Audio Equipment Repair & Servicing
As a Trainee Electronics Technician at Audissey, you will develop the skills needed to diagnose, repair, and service high-end AV and audio equipment, both in our workshop and on-site. You’ll learn directly under the guidance of one of Sri Lanka’s most experienced AV and audio electronics specialists — a rare opportunity that simply cannot be found elsewhere in Sri Lanka. Training will include structured theory sessions alongside guided practical work.
What You’ll Learn To Do
- Assist with the intake of faulty equipment at our service centre, including initial testing, confirming customer-reported issues, and preparing job documentation
- Repair and service AV and audio equipment in our workshop and on systems at project sites
- Maintain an organised and efficient workplace while ensuring service records are accurately updated
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for electronics and AV technology
- A qualification in electronics (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Applicants without formal qualifications but with a demonstrable understanding of basic electronics theory, components, and circuits are welcome to apply
- Skill in soldering and desoldering, especially surface-mounted components, would be a definite advantage
- Willingness to learn and take initiative, paired with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable using online tools for documentation, research, and communication
Working Hours and Remuneration
Working hours are 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. A starting salary of LKR 35,000 to 45,000 is offered, based on qualifications and demonstrated ability. As your skills and responsibilities grow, so will your remuneration — with a clear pathway towards the earning levels of our experienced technicians.
