Product Overview

The Yamaha DBR12 is a 12-inch powered 2-way speaker designed to deliver high output, clear sound and practical versatility in portable PA systems. With a 1000W Class-D amplifier system, Yamaha FIR-X tuning and D-CONTOUR processing, it combines strong performance with a compact, lightweight enclosure that is well suited to live performance, DJ, event and general sound-reinforcement applications.

The DBR12 uses a 12-inch low-frequency driver and 1.4-inch compression driver to provide a 52Hz–20kHz frequency range and 90° × 60° coverage. FIR-X tuning uses a linear-phase FIR filter at the crossover to help maintain a smooth, coherent response, while D-CONTOUR provides optimized processing for main PA or floor-monitor use. The result is a flexible speaker that can deliver up to 131dB SPL while remaining relatively easy to transport and set up.

An integrated 2-channel mixer adds further flexibility for small systems and straightforward setups. Channel 1 accepts XLR or TRS inputs, while Channel 2 accepts XLR, TRS and stereo RCA sources, and the output can provide either a parallel feed from Channel 1 or a mix of both channels. The DBR12 can be pole mounted or used as a floor monitor, while its symmetrical 50° wedge design, dual side handles and integrated M8 rigging points support a range of portable and installed configurations.
