ELV Technician

AV / CCTV / Wi‑Fi – Installation & Maintenance

As an ELV Technician at Audissey, you will install and maintain high-performance AV, CCTV, and Wi-Fi systems for premium residential and commercial clients. You’ll work under the guidance of Sri Lanka’s only CTS-certified AV professional — bringing internationally recognised standards to every project.

What You’ll Do

• Read and understand ELV wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and equipment locations
• Identify suitable cable routes and pathways in coordination with the system designer, client, and other contractors
• Install conduit, casing, wall boxes, and cabling with correct routing, bend radius, and neat workmanship
• Mount and connect AV, CCTV, Wi‑Fi, and related equipment
• Carry out basic device configuration (network settings, firmware updates, etc.) with guidance from the system designer
• Test systems to confirm correct operation and signal integrity, and troubleshoot issues on site when required
• Document installed equipment, materials used, and any deviations from drawings or plans

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of proven experience in ELV or electrical installation work
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent certification as a minimum
• Skilled in both embedded and surface cabling techniques using appropriate power tools
• Ability to work neatly and safely to high professional standards
• Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Sri Lanka
• Experience installing AV, CCTV, data, or other ELV equipment is preferred

Working Hours and Remuneration

Full-time working hours are 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. Working hours are flexible if joining us on a part-time basis. A daily rate of LKR 2,500 to 3,500 is offered based on experience and ability, with higher rates negotiable for freelance and subcontract engagements.
