Product Overview

The DSPPA DSP5040 is a 2-way surface-mount speaker designed for reliable background music and general-purpose audio in outdoor and other demanding environments. Its IP66-rated construction combines a sealed ABS cabinet with an aluminum grille and mounting bracket, providing protection against dust, water and outdoor exposure.

A 6.5-inch woofer, 1-inch silk-dome tweeter and rear-mounted passive radiator provide balanced full-range sound with enhanced bass response. The integrated 100V/70V transformer offers selectable power taps, while transformer bypass allows the speaker to be used as an 8-ohm speaker in low-impedance systems.

The included adjustable mounting bracket supports horizontal or vertical installation and allows the speaker to be aimed toward the listening area. Its corrosion-resistant construction also makes the DSP5040 suitable for outdoor installations in coastal locations.
