Product Overview
The Sonos Amp is a compact, rack-mountable streaming amplifier built to power passive speakers throughout the home. It delivers 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms through a Class D digital amplifier, enough headroom to drive bookshelf, floor-standing, in-wall, in-ceiling, or outdoor speakers at high volume with low distortion. An HDMI ARC input lets it double as the hub of a stereo home theater setup, while a line-in RCA connection supports turntables, CD players, and other analog sources.
Because Amp is a full Sonos player, it joins the rest of a Sonos system over WiFi for multiroom listening, grouping, and control through the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, or a compatible voice assistant device. It supports stereo or dual-mono output, adjustable bass/treble/loudness EQ, a dedicated subwoofer output with adjustable crossover, and Trueplay tuning when paired with supported Sonos Architectural by Sonance speakers. Dual Ethernet ports allow it to be hardwired to a router and extend a wired connection to other Sonos products.
