Product Overview
The Yamaha CBR15 is a 15-inch passive 2-way speaker designed for applications where high output and extended low-frequency performance are important. It is well suited to front-of-house sound for live performances and DJ events, as well as floor monitoring and installed or rigged PA systems. Its combination of high sensitivity, wide coverage and robust construction makes it a versatile choice for portable and permanent sound reinforcement.
Its 15-inch low-frequency driver and 1.4-inch compression driver work with Yamaha’s wide-dispersion constant-directivity horn to deliver clear, high-definition sound across a 90° × 60° coverage pattern. The rugged yet relatively lightweight plastic enclosure incorporates two side handles for easier transport and setup, while the straightforward 1/4-inch phone and speakON connections simplify integration with a wide range of professional PA equipment.
The CBR15 can be used as a conventional pole-mounted speaker or positioned as a floor monitor using its 50° symmetrical wedge design. Integrated M8 rigging points allow the speaker to be installed using compatible brackets or eye bolts, providing additional flexibility for permanent installations. This combination of high output, practical portability and flexible deployment makes the CBR15 particularly well suited to larger live sound and PA applications.
