Product Overview
The Yamaha CBR12 is a 12-inch passive 2-way speaker that combines high output, wide coverage and practical versatility in a compact, portable enclosure. Designed for front-of-house sound, floor monitoring and installed or rigged applications, it offers a useful balance of performance and size for a wide range of live sound and PA systems.
Its 12-inch low-frequency driver and 1.4-inch compression driver work with Yamaha’s wide-dispersion constant-directivity horn to provide clear, high-definition sound across a 90° × 60° coverage pattern. The rugged plastic enclosure is designed for reliable operation at high output levels while remaining relatively lightweight and easy to transport.
The CBR12 can be used as a conventional pole-mounted or floor-monitor speaker, or installed using its integrated M8 rigging points and compatible mounting hardware. Its 50° wedge angle, symmetrical enclosure design and flexible mounting options make it equally suitable for portable PA systems and more permanent installations.
