Product Overview

The Bose Bass Module 700 is a wireless subwoofer designed to add deeper, more impactful low-end to a compatible Bose soundbar system, to reinforce the bass in movies, TV, and music without adding visible cable clutter to the room. If a wired connection is preferred over wireless, it can be hardwired using the separately available Bose Bass Module Connection Cable.

A powerful driver combined with a generously sized bass port and Bose’s QuietPort technology work together to deliver deep, dynamic bass while minimizing the distortion and chuffing noise that smaller ported subwoofers are prone to at higher volumes. The unit’s premium glass-top finish is designed to look more like a piece of furniture than typical home theater equipment, letting it sit visibly in a living room without looking out of place.

For placement, Bose recommends positioning the Bass Module 700 on the floor against the same wall as the TV and soundbar, near an available power outlet, rather than on a shelf or table. Moving it closer to a wall or room corner increases the perceived bass output, while pulling it away from walls and corners reduces it — giving some tuning flexibility for the specific room it’s placed in. For a complete surround setup, it can be combined with compatible Bose Surround Speakers alongside the soundbar.
